Ymax New Streamlined Onboarding Gets You From Wallet To Yield in One Signature

A share of users who started Ymax onboarding didn't finish it. We realized it stemmed from information overload at the portfolio creation step. When we gave users more context before asking them to act, conversion jumped. The original onboarding dropped users into an empty portfolio builder and asked them to start from scratch. We thought that was flexibility, but ultimately it was friction.

The redesigned flow opens with a new landing page, then takes you straight to a set of pre-selected portfolio options, all curated starting points, ready to go. Pick one, sign once, and your capital is deployed.

Nothing is locked in. You can adjust, override, or build something custom. The pre-selected options just mean you don't have to figure out where to begin before you start.

We're looking at improvements to Max and Bring Your Own Agent next. The longer arc is a product that finds the right starting point for you rather than asking you to configure your way in.
