In preparation for the launch of Inter Protocol and $IST, the native fee token for the Agoric platform and the overcollateralized stable token for Cosmos IBC, Agoric has partnered with Gauntlet to provide risk management modeling and simulations. Through our new partnership, Gauntlet will modify its existing simulation models to integrate into Inter Protocol, providing effective risk parameter recommendations to metrics like debt limits and collateralization ratios.
In addition to increasing the efficiency of Inter Protocol mechanics, Gauntlet’s modeling will also provide direct support to the upcoming Economic Committee, a group of established experts who will provide ongoing management of key Inter Protocol parameters. They will work to ensure that the protocol controls and incentives respond to evolving market conditions. The vote to elect the Economic Committee by the holders of staked Agoric BLD—the BLDer DAO—is currently planned for June 2022.
