Official Contest Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility:
1.1 The Agoric Arctic Arena Challenge ("Contest") is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
2. Contest Period:
2.1 The Contest begins on December 16, 2024, and ends on December 20, 2024 ("Contest Period"). All entries must be submitted within the Contest Period.
3. How to Enter:
3.1 To enter the Contest, participants must follow the Agoric X account and submit a valid reply to the Contest post on X each day during the Contest Period.
3.2 A valid reply contains the X handle of at least one other user, “tagging” them on the X platform.
3.3 Sharing the contest on social media is optional and will not affect the chances of winning.
3.4 No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
3.5 There is no restriction to the number of submissions allowed by any one participant.
4. Prize Details:
4.1 The Agoric team will select three random winners from among the participants each day of the Contest Period. Each winner will receive $250 in BLD.
4.2 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation.
4.3 Winners are not responsible for any taxes or additional costs associated with the prizes.
4.4 Prizes will be distributed in January 2025 to ensure all necessary information is collected from the winners.
5. Winner Selection:
5.1 The three randomly selected daily winners will be chosen using an X plugin designed to support contest prize distribution.
5.2 All decisions made by the Agoric team are final and binding.
6. Winner Notification:
6.1 Winners will be notified publicly via social media account(s).
6.2 Winners must connect with Agoric via social media and email to provide their Agoric address and other required information within seven (7) days after receiving notification.
6.3 If a winner does not respond within the specified time frame, the winner forfeits their prize.
7. Publicity:
7.1 By entering the Contest, participants grant Agoric the right to use their designs and social media handles for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
8. Privacy:
8.1 Information collected during the Contest will be used in accordance with Agoric's Privacy Policy.
9. General Terms:
9.1 Agoric reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these terms and conditions. By participating, you agree to Agoric’s master Terms and Privacy Policy. Agoric may refuse the distribution of prizes based on legal, regulatory, and compliance grounds and/or require personal identifying information prior to distribution.
9.2 Agoric reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest at any time for any reason, including canceling of prize distribution.
9.3 This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
9.4 Agoric team members and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, and siblings) are not eligible to participate in this contest. These restrictions apply to current and former employees within the last 12 months from the start date of the contest.
By participating in the Agoric Arctic Arena Challenge, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the decisions of Agoric, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.
