We’re thrilled to welcome Abad Mian as Agoric’s new Head of Product.

Abad brings a wealth of experience from the front lines of both DeFi and fintech. At ConsenSys, he led two of MetaMask’s most impactful products: MetaMask Swaps, which now processes billions of dollars in user trades annually, and MetaMask Staking, which has driven hundreds of millions of dollars in staking volume. These initiatives helped define the wallet experience for millions — simplifying access to decentralized finance at scale.

Before that, Abad led income and identity verification at LendingClub, supporting billions in loans for hundreds of thousands of customers each year. He’s also held roles at Facebook and EquityZen, bringing a rare blend of experience across global-scale tech and high-growth startups.

Now, he’s bringing that product and execution expertise to Agoric — where we’re building the next evolution of onchain finance.

As Head of Product, Abad will lead development of YMAX, our intelligent cross-chain yield optimizer.
